Taoyuan City 113th Annual Youth International Volunteer Service Team Summer Subsidy Program

Purpose: To encourage young volunteers to engage in overseas service camps or programs, integrate resources from local universities and the private sector, utilize the expertise and abilities of young volunteers, cultivate a sense of obligation and mission as global citizens among young people, and implement the 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) signed at the United Nations Sustainable Development Conference 2030. This program supports youth sustainable actions and humanitarian endeavors, aiming to enhance international concern and participation in global citizenship.

Organizer: Youth Affairs Bureau, Taoyuan City Government (hereinafter referred to as "the Bureau").

Based on: Operational Guidelines for Promoting Youth Social Participation Subsidies by Taoyuan City Government (hereinafter referred to as "these Guidelines").

Eligible Applicants: The term "youth" in this program refers to individuals aged 15 or above but below 35 who are registered residents of Taoyuan City or are studying or employed in Taoyuan City. By order of the law or with the approval of the competent authorities, organizations, consortiums, or schools that have formed a team of six or more youth volunteers, and one-third or more of the team members have received a Volunteer Service Record Book.Engage in volunteer service activities overseas (excluding Taiwan and its outlying islands) during the period from June 1st to September 30th, 113th year.Scope and Content of Proposal:

Proposal Categories: Based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the program includes categories such as poverty eradication, zero hunger, health and well-being, quality education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, economic growth, industry innovation, reduced inequalities, sustainable communities, responsible production, climate action, ocean resources, terrestrial resources, peace and justice, and partnerships. This program integrates the 17 objectives mentioned above and divides them into seven categories, including "education," "community," "environment," "culture," "science and technology," "health," and "other," etc. Proposals for this program must be submitted in one of the categories mentioned above.Proposals must select one category within these scopes for international volunteer service activities.

Number of Proposals: The same applicant unit can apply for a maximum of two proposals within the same fiscal year. However, this limitation does not apply to applications submitted by schools or units utilizing volunteers from the local youth affairs bureau.

Application Period: From now until 5:00 PM on April 19th, 113th year (Friday). (Applications accepted from on-campus until April 8th)

Submission Method: Please send the required documents to the Public Participation Section of the Bureau (No. 390, Huanbei Road, Zhongli District, Taoyuan City) within the specified period.

Required Documents: Attach the following documents in order:

(1)Five copies of Application Form 1.

(2)Five copies of the proposal (including budget estimate).

(3)Funding Confirmation Statement.

(4)Five copies of the list of youth team members.

(5)One copy each of the registration certificate and organization charter of the applying unit (schools are exempt).

(6)Conflict of Interest Declaration Statement for Public Officials, and Disclosure Form for Public Officials and Related Persons.
